Port Moody is a city located in British Columbia, Canada, and is part of the Metro Vancouver Regional District. Situated at the eastern end of Burrard Inlet, it is the smallest of the Tri-Cities. The city is bordered by Coquitlam to the east and south, and by Burnaby to the west. To the northwest and north lie the villages of Belcarra and Anmore, along with the rugged Coast Mountains. Port Moody is named after Richard Clement Moody, the first lieutenant governor of the Colony of British Columbia.
